This page defines the key performance indicators (KPIs) your team should track monthly, how to pull them from UpPromote, and how to use the data to optimise the affiliate program for growth.

- New sign-ups this week — track which campaign or outreach batch drove them
- Clicks this week by affiliate — flag any affiliate generating clicks but 0 conversions (may need content coaching)
- Sales this week by affiliate — identify top performers for tier upgrades
- Any compliance flags — review affiliate content tagged by your team or reported by customers

Optimisation Decision Tree
Affiliate has clicks but no sales
- Review their content — are they linking correctly? Is the CTA clear?
- Send them a personalised email with conversion tips from their content kit
- Offer a limited-time higher commission (e.g., 12% for 30 days) to incentivise effort
- If still no sales after 60 days: move to inactive list
Affiliate has sales but low volume
- Ask them what content performed best — double down on that format
- Provide them with a seasonal promotion code (e.g., "SUMMER10") to drive urgency
- Suggest cross-promoting multiple product lines (e.g., AroJuice + Wellness Bundle)
Affiliate is approaching a tier threshold
- Send a proactive email: "You're $[X] away from VIP tier — here are tips to get there"
- Provide a 2-week content calendar suggestion
- Upgrade them as soon as threshold is crossed — do not make them wait until end of month
Affiliate is inactive (0 sales for 30 days)
- Send re-engagement email: "We miss you! Here are new assets to make promoting Welsdom easier"
- Include a link to their content kit and a fresh coupon code
- If no activity after 60 days: archive their account in UpPromote (do not delete — they may return)
Compliance Review Checklist (Monthly)
- Search "[brand name] affiliate" on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube — review top posts
- Check that all posts include clear disclosure (#ad, #sponsored, "affiliate link")
- Flag any posts making health claims (immunity, detox, cure, treat, prevent) — contact affiliate immediately
- Review any customer complaints mentioning affiliate-driven misleading claims
- Document all compliance actions in the monthly report Section 5
